Health Benefits

The Personnel Services Department manages the benefits for the County Office of Education and serves as a resource for all EDCOE employees.

NEW! Two new informational videos are available to help you understand what is available to you as an EDCOE employee.  For an overview of benefit options and a summary of 2016-17 plan changes, click on the video icon.

During Open Enrollment you may change from your existing plan to a different plan, enroll eligible dependents that were not previously enrolled, and if you have not previously enrolled in a medical plan, you are eligible to enroll yourself and your eligible dependents.

We are concerned about the rising costs of health insurance premiums.  In order to help minimize the impacts of these rising costs EDCOE has provided employees with  tools in the hopes that they will help with the process of selecting the best plan for themselves and their families. It may be helpful to watch the video for instruction before using the Comparison Tool.
