El Dorado County Board of Education Vacancy

After twenty-two years of service to students in our community, El Dorado County Board of Education Member Debbie Akin will be stepping down from her role, after representing Area 3 for nearly a decade. The El Dorado County Board of Education is now accepting applications to fill this vacancy. This is a 4-year term, which will commence on December 4, 2020. 

 Applicants must be at least 18 years of age and a registered voter residing within the boundaries of Trustee Area 3 which can be viewed at https://bit.ly/3iZp5IF. All interested parties are encouraged to review the qualifications and submit a Candidate Information Sheet, available on our website at https://bit.ly/2RSgs6P or by contacting Kim Stewart at kstewart@edcoe.org  If you require assistance reading this document, please contact Kim Stewart. 

Completed Candidate Information Sheets may be submitted online, emailed to kstewart@edcoe.org, faxed to 530-642-1832, or mailed to Superintendent of School’s Office, El Dorado County Office of Education (EDCOE), 6767 Green Valley Road, Placerville, CA 95667. Applications must be received by 5:00 p.m. Friday, October 9, 2020. Interviews will be conducted at a Special Meeting of the County Board of Education on Monday, October 12, 2020. Applicants will be notified of the time of their interview.
