The department builds partnerships among families, schools and communities to provide high-quality early childhood education and other services in safe, nurturing environments with highly-qualified and motivated staff who deliver educational excellence for the 21st Century.

Now accepting applications for the 2024-2025 School year! Applications can be filled out at the following Child Development Central Office locations: 6767 Green Valley Road, Placerville, CA 95667 Building F / 1286 Kyburz Avenue, South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150 or by following the instructions below for an online pre-application. 

The application process is an application for services and does not guarantee enrollment.
