El Dorado County Office of Education, Placerville, CA

Hello Everyone!
We have completed a successful 09/10 school year and summer break has begun. I thank you for all the support and effort that each and every one of you expend on behalf of the students, families, and our communities throughout this great county that we serve. The filing deadline for the position of County Superintendent of Schools passed at 5:00 p.m. on March 12 with no one else seeking the office. So, I am thrilled to say that you will be stuck with me for the next term. My running for County Superintendent unopposed is primarily the result of having such an incredible team that delivers high quality public education in this county. I absolutely believe that we have together created a very special county – with outstanding schools and a staff that is the BEST!! I feel honored and humbled to be able to serve as your County Superintendent and I want to express how blessed I feel to work with each one of you. Thank you again for your commitment to public education in El Dorado County. Have a wonderful summer!
