With ongoing efforts to maintain the highest nutritional and food safety standards while serving meals and snacks to El Dorado County children, the department provides healthful breakfasts, lunches and supplements, with special dietary needs and restrictions are widely accommodated. Educators are regularly trained by the California Department of Education in food safety, nutrition and evolving regulations.
