Applications Open for Youth Commissioners

2019-20 El Dorado County Youth Commission join the County Board of Supervisors during the annual Shadow Day.

Attention high school students who are interested in making a difference in our community:

The El Dorado County Youth Commission is now accepting applications for the 2021-2022 school year. Established in 2003 and supported by the El Dorado County Board of Supervisors (BOS) and El Dorado County Office of Education (EDCOE), appointed Commissioners are empowered to gather and express the opinions, ideas, and visions of our county’s youth, while gaining valuable leadership skills and knowledge about our county and local government.

To apply, students must be enrolled in grades 9-12, reside in El Dorado County, and be at least 13 years old. Applications will be available at most high school counseling offices, as well as online at: tinyurl.com/edcyouthcommission. Completed applications must be submitted directly online or via email by 11:59 pm on Friday, September 10, 2021.
