Child Abuse Prevention Council Now Recruiting New Members

El Dorado County Child Abuse Prevention Council is seeking applications from individuals passionate about serving and protecting the children and families in our county. In May 2020 alone, 18 allegations of abuse were substantiated. No previous council experience required. The Council meets 5 times annually. Members serve two year appointments. Current vacancies include:

-          Parent/Primary Caregiver

-          Health and Mental Health Provider

-          Community Based Organization

As a council member you would provide leadership and oversight on numerous community projects throughout the county. These projects provide direct support to families.
