Childcare: Enhanced referrals & payment assistance

The Emergency Child Care Taskforce partners with key local agencies and businesses to monitor current childcare availability, needs of providers, and distribution of resources to open childcare sites. Included in this partnership is Choices for Children, El Dorado County’s Resource & Referral Agency. They currently offer enhanced referrals for essential workers. Choices for Children maintains a list of open providers able to care for children of all ages. They consult with families about their needs and preference in order to provide the enhanced referrals.
