EDC Administrators Receive Regional Awards

On March 11, the Association of California School Administrators (ACSA) Region 2 hosted a gala at the Catta Verdera Country Club in Lincoln, celebrating Region 2 Administrators of the Year. ACSA Region 2 represents educational leaders from the Northern California counties of Butte, Colusa, El Dorado, Glenn, Nevada, Placer, Plumas, Sierra, Sutter, and Yuba. Several administrators from the local El Dorado Charter were recognized.  “The El Dorado County educational leaders recognized tonight exemplify the highest levels of quality service, commitment, and care for students, families, and educators,” expressed El Dorado County Superintendent Dr. Ed Manansala. “In the most challenging and unpredictable times, their above-and-beyond contributions have been remarkable.”

Category: Central Office Administrator (County/District) - Roslynne Manansala-Smith, Director of External Business, El Dorado County Office of Education

Category: Elementary Principal - Cindy Martinez, Bijou Elementary School, Lake Tahoe Unified School District

Category: Classified Leader - Sarah Lemke, Director of Transportation, El Dorado Union High School District

Category: Confidential Employee - Karen Schudy, Personnel Technician, Rescue Union School District
