EDCOE’s 5th Annual Coat Drive Keeps Students Warm this Winter

00:00 AM - December 01, 2017

EDCOE delivers boxes of winter coats to schools across the county to keep children in need warm this winter.

In an effort to provide new coats to El Dorado County students in need, EDCOE sponsored the 5th Annual Coat Drive. This program is a collaboration of EDCOE and district team members working hand-in-hand with schools to determine and fill the needs of our county’s students. Thank you to the dozens of generous EDCOE Team Members who contributed personal donations to the Annual EDCOE Coat Drive making this effort possible!

“Thank you to everyone who donated to the 2017 EDCOE Coat Drive. Because of your generosity, 128 students in need from across the county will stay warm this winter. Thank you to Kameron Burns, in reception, for collecting and organizing the coats along with Facilities and Communications for prompt delivery. Laura Thomas also created the website that collected the requests directly from schools,” expressed County Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Ed Manansala, “We make an amazing team!”
