Ginese Quann becomes EDCOE’s Executive Director for the El Dorado County Charter SELPA

It is a great pleasure for EDCOE to announce that Ginese Quann has accepted the position of Executive Director of the Charter SELPA. Ginese joined EDCOE in 2013 and then in 2014, began serving as the Director for the El Dorado County Charter SELPA. Before joining EDCOE, Ginese served as a Charter School Network Program Administrator, Instructional Coordinator and Teacher.

In her work, Ginese promotes and fosters a culture of performance improvement, innovation, and service. Ginese establishes and maintains positive working relationships with Local Education Agencies (LEAs) across El Dorado County and a statewide network of charter schools.

Dr. Ed Manansala, El Dorado County Superintendent, stated, “Ginese is an experienced leader and educator, dedicated to promoting all students' success through collaboration, transparency, and accountability. According to her colleagues, Ginese leads with compassion, enthusiasm, trustworthiness, and professionalism.”

In her spare time, she enjoys skiing and traveling with her husband and reading a good book.
