Props, Cops & Rodders is Saturday, September 24

El Dorado County Office of Education is excited to be back at the Props, Cops & Rodders Show & Shine Fly-In on Saturday, September 24 at the Cameron Air Park. We’ll be hosting the Kids Zone where there will be bounce houses, corn hole, Red Hawk Casino’s Kids Quest, as well as multiple educational demonstrations like child fingerprinting, car seat and bicycle safety from El Dorado Sheriff’s Office STAR volunteers, the El Dorado Community Health Center Dental Van, and much more! Toys for Tots will also be there accepting donations.
This is a full day event, running from 9 a.m.-3 p.m., where you can admire classic cars, awesome airplanes, and engaging equipment from local law enforcement agencies. Additionally, there will be live music by The Viva Santana Show! and Rock Monsterz as well as special performances by the Ponderosa High School marching band and choir. Plus, there will be plenty of food trucks to satiate everyone’s tastebuds.
Admission for spectators is $5 per car. If you want your vehicle or plane to be part of the show, there is a $40 fee and advance registration is required. Profits from this family-friendly event benefit the Placerville Community Fund which provides support to charitable fund as well as local community needs.
