El Dorado County Education Fund

In El Dorado County, our vision is to create the conditions for every student to succeed in college, a career, and in their community. The El Dorado County Education Fund collaborates with community partners and supports programs that meet the diverse needs of our student population.

These annual programs include, but are not limited to:

  • Academic Decathlon – expands the minds of almost 100 high school students through academic competition.
  • EDCOE Coat Drive – provides more than 300 coats to students whose families cannot afford one during cold winters.
  • Golden Star Student Program – recognizes more than 5,500 students county-wide for academic achievement, citizenship, extracurricular activities, and more.

The El Dorado Community Foundation generously serves as the fiscal agent for the El Dorado County Education Fund. To make a donation visit the El Dorado Community Foundation Donation page and select El Dorado County Education Fund from the drop-down menu.
