Module 10: Assessments
Introduction
Introduction
Introduction
Special consideration needs to be made for some students who will need additional support on state testing. Accommodations that are regularly made in the classrooms to help your child be successful can also be offered during the yearly state testing. An additional page of the IEP will be created to list these accommodations. It is important to know that some accommodations, like having the classroom texts read aloud, may not be offered as an option for state testing. Every effort will be made to create an inclusive environment for your child during the state testing days in compliance with the state’s regulations. In some instances, an alternative assessment may be completed instead of the state testing.
