A Message from County Superintendent Dr. Ed Manansala

00:00 AM - April 15, 2020

Greetings,

I am deeply thankful for our students, families, educators, and community partners during the unprecedented times that we are navigating. The collaboration and care exemplify the strength of El Dorado County.

As you know, EDCOE and the superintendents of our 15 school districts, in concurrence with Dr. Nancy Williams, El Dorado County Public Health Officer, took a safety-first approach and announced that school facilities will remain closed throughout the end of this school year.

Together we are transitioning into a new way of teaching and learning that allows our students to grow and succeed. EDCOE programs and school districts have been working tirelessly to equip families with distance learning resources through online platforms and printed packets. As we discover new ways of teaching, we are cultivating stronger skillsets to educate El Dorado County students. Click here for additional resources >>

A sincere thank you for all you do on behalf of students and families in El Dorado County.

Be well,
Ed
