UPDATE: Call for Student Participation: El Dorado Transit Bus Decorating Contest!

13:00 PM - September 21, 2023

We are excited to announce the launch of the El Dorado Transit Bus Decorating Contest for the upcoming 2023-24 school year! This exciting art contest is open to middle and high school students (grades 6-12), and we encourage all creative minds to participate and showcase their artistic talents.

The El Dorado Transit Bus Decorating Contest aims to foster creativity and community engagement by inviting students to submit their artwork designs to be displayed on one of the El Dorado Transit buses. This is a fantastic opportunity for students to leave a lasting mark on their community and inspire others through their artwork.

The winning art design will be featured on an El Dorado Transit bus as a “wrap”, which will be proudly unveiled at the student's school in early 2024. Additionally, the decorated bus will make a grand appearance in the Placerville Christmas parade in December 2024, capturing the attention and admiration of the entire community.

Key details and important dates for the contest:

Submission Deadline: Friday, September 29 Extended: Friday, October 6

Submission Guidelines:
