Public Notice of Provisional Appointment

The Board of Education of the El Dorado County Office of Education announces that the resignation Georgianne Knight, Trustee Area 1, from the County Board of Education effective on June 20, 2023 created one vacant position on the District’s Board of Education.
The Board of Trustees voted at a Regular Meeting held on August 1, 2023 to make a provisional appointment of Charles Ware to fill this vacancy. Unless a petition calling for a special election, containing a sufficient number of signatures, is filed in the Office of the El Dorado County Superintendent of Schools within 30 days of the date of the provisional appointment, it shall become an effective appointment.
