For children, our county operated programs include child development for young children 0-5 years of age which promote the well-being of the whole child to prepare them for school. For school age children, there are a variety of alternative programs for student enrichment and for students with special needs. In addition to the school day, services include extended day childcare providing high quality educational activities. EDCOE builds bridges with Charter SELPA partners to provide individualized special education services.
In support of educators, we provide innovative professional development and curriculum, instruction and accountability services.
Operational support to education and the community includes district fiscal oversight, business and personnel services. Infrastructure partnerships include information technology, facilities, maintenance and operations, developer fee collections, print shop services and emergency preparedness.
