The department builds partnerships among families, schools and communities to provide high-quality early childhood education and other services in safe, nurturing environments with highly-qualified and motivated staff who deliver educational excellence for the 21st Century.
All families interested in Head Start and/or State Preschool services for the 2020/21 program year are required to complete and submit a current application. Due to COVID 19 the central office is currently closed however, we have several options to submit applications. The application can be picked up at the Child Development Central Office outside pick up box, completed over the phone by calling the main office, or **IF YOUR FAMILY IS RETURNING OR ALREADY ENROLLED IN PROGRAM PLEASE DO NOT FILL OUT THIS APPLICATION AND CALL THE OFFICE AT 530-295-2270** If your family is new to our Child Development Programs you can do online application, please make sure to fill out the application completely.
