Building strong foundations to prepare students for future success
EDCOE supports the unique needs of the county’s 15 districts and 67 schools with customized business, monitoring, professional development, curricula and other services, while partnering with educators to help develop and implement innovative student programs in response to community needs. Teachers, principals, superintendents, bus drivers, custodians and staff are all educators contributing to every child’s development and are an integral component to developing educational programs that meet the worthy expectations of the community in accordance with the demands of federal and state legislation. In addition, we work with the districts and schools to ensure access to educational opportunities supporting student achievement and world-class education practices.
The school districts and community college districts are independent from EDCOE in that they are governed by their locally elected Boards of Trustees. The links below are provided by them as a resource for you.
