Special Services

Welcome to the El Dorado County Office of Education Special Services! Our commitment to student success is at the heart of everything we do. Our mission is to ensure that every student, regardless of their unique needs, receives an exceptional education tailored to foster their growth and potential. 

Students are placed in our special services programs through the Individualized Education Program (IEP) process, ensuring that each student's specific needs are met with personalized care and attention. We offer 27 classroom-based programs located on school campuses across the County.  These programs are specifically designed to provide our students with an array of educational experiences where they can grow, learn, and enjoy a sense of belonging.

Collaboration is key to our success. We work closely with each district to tailor our approach to meet the needs of every student, providing a cohesive and individualized educational experience.
