Deaf or Hard of Hearing

The Deaf or Hard of Hearing programs and services provide direct and indirect services for students whose primary disabilities include moderate to profound hearing loss. Services are individualized and may include: use of interpreters, ASL and SEE Sign, developing language/communication skills, and/or behavioral skills development. Students have access to standards-based curriculum and the programs and/or itinerant services are implemented in a variety of school settings ranging from Special Day Classes, integrated classrooms, general education classrooms and/or within the community.
