Orthopedic (Physical) Impairments

Orthopedic (Physical) Impairments

This program serves students whose primary disability is orthopedic in nature and focuses on physical accommodations, functional skills development and accesses standards-based curriculum with the ultimate goal of preparing students to be successful in appropriate and less restrictive learning environments. Due to the low incidence of this population, there is currently one class which serves kindergarten through grade 6. Older students are served either in their district of residence or in other county operated programs.
